Sales Executive
Full time office-based sales role with a friendly company on the outskirts of Chelmsford. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organization within the Import/ Export industry, assisting with the clearance of shipments into the Middle East and Africa.
The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be joining our expanding sales team dealing with International and UK based clients
- Telephone based sales role making outbound calls to companies worldwide
- Qualifying and obtaining leads, working with an open mindset and tenacious approach Identifying decision makers and company information through phone calls and use of online tools
- Selling a service in a consultative way providing solutions to customer's problems
- Making qualifying phone calls and follow up phone calls, taking prospects from introduction to conversion where they will be dealt with by the Operations team
- Attending exhibitions and events both in the UK, and internationally, to network and prospect for new business
- Working with an autonomous approach conducting research into potential clients
- Updating company CRM and managing own diary/ call schedule
The Candidate:
- Minimum of 6 months outbound telephone sales experience
- Competent with Microsoft office programs
- Excellent telephone manner
- Persistent and driven
- Willing to learn
- Have a thorough and methodical approach
Offering a guaranteed basic salary of GBP18,000 per annum and a generous uncapped commission structure. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm, often with an early finish on a Friday. They also offer a casual dress code, friendly environment (with friendly office dogs) and free parking.
Due to location, you must have a driving license and vehicle. The ideal candidate would have a good sense of humor, a minimum of 6 months outbound sales experience, and a willingness to learn
