The Content Team sits within Brand Experience at ASOS. We are responsible for the development and management of ASOS off-site channels and along with the creative team, drive our most high-profile campaigns from brand awareness pieces to category re-launches.

The role:

Reporting to the Senior Editor, this role is a key function in the content team. Together with a (visual) creative buddy, strategist, stylist and marketeer, you will form a core team on a brief-by-brief basis, responsible for concepting world-class campaigns that will engage a growing audience across all of ASOS platforms and/or target potential audiences in a nuanced and platform-centric way. You will be able to think of big ideas that can wow internal stakeholders, and then help shape the development of those ideas across all our owned and earned channels. Your role here will be to develop positioning statements and campaign straplines that feel truly connected to the visual execution, and will be developed in a way that feels absolutely right for the platforms they will live on. As such, you will be expected to develop excellent relationships with all platform leads, from social to on-site channels, in order to represent them through the process.

What youll be doing
  • Brave, big idea thinking in response to strategic marketing briefs.
  • Confidently be the sole representative of ASOS platforms in cross-department core teams, which are created to lead our campaigns.
  • Lead development of creative copy within campaigns, understanding that the copy and visual executions are intertwined.
  • Support the Senior Editor to develop their own campaign ideas where necessary.
  • Liaise with the wider team to ensure that each of our channels is represented in creative brainstorms.
  • Feedback to relevant team leads, or platform execs, when relevant " and take their suggestions on board.
  • Working with the broader team, honestly assess the performance of content, understanding what has worked and what hasnt. Share what you learn with the wider team.
  • Make use of available research, customer insight and data, ensuring that all campaign ideas are rooted in the most up-to-date information.
  • Contribute to and share insight around the ASOS customer; the trends that are shaping the way they consume content, the peers they hero and the ways their style is evolving.
  • Understand what our competitors are doing (both in a cross-channel media and retail space), and use this as a springboard to develop campaign concepts.
  • Liaise with the wider Content & Engagement Team where appropriate to share campaign and proposition insight and ideas, ensuring audiences get a consistent experience of ASOS across all touchpoints.


Wed love to meet someone with
  • Experience in global campaign ideation.
  • Experience working across multiple social media platforms.
  • An understanding of the platforms and content formats which will engage a 20something audience.
  • A love of the fashion industry and 20something culture.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and across multiple different channels at any one time.
  • An interest in understanding performance, measurement and optimisation of content.
  • You must be able to prioritise and be calm under pressure.
  • Exceptional organisational, administrative and communication skills, as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines.
