Digital Product Manager - Sales Transformation

Why this role matters

Working in the Digital Sales Team you will be transforming the consumer sales and retention experience, developing new capabilities with an insight led approach focussed on fulfilling customer and business needs.

You will be a Digital Product Manager for our new Personalised Offers capability which is critical to the long term success of the consumer business and provides a brilliant opportunity to create a simple, brilliant and personalised customer experience.

You will work in Agile on a set of features, working collaboratively to successfully develop the product.

What you'll be doing

Define key features: Define the key features and high level requirements of certain features within our personalised offers capability

Own success measures : Define and own the success criteria and KPIs, really understanding the needs the product and features will fulfil

Create brilliant user experiences : Partner closely with UX and UI to create a brilliant customer experience that fulfils our ambitions. You will be the advocate for the customer and represent what we want the features to achieve. This will include attending user testing to influence your thinking

Insight led development: Support driving an insight led approach, using a variety of qualitative and quantitative data points to drive the development of the product i.e. User research, business performance data, NPS, conversion funnels, sessioncam analysis.



C ollaborate to create the product : Collaborate closely with a variety of teams including our Digital Team, Technology, Commercial (Product & Pricing) and Marketing teams to ensure the capability we're creating delivers our needs



Financial Management: Support the management of the budget and business casing



Reporting: Define reporting requirements, partnering with the analytics teams to deliver your requirements



Product understanding : Maintain a thorough understanding of the product and it's performance



Taking ownership: Work across the matrix teams to ensure the product and features are successfully delivered on time with the right outcomes, being pro-active to drive success



Resolve conflicts: Promoting resolution of problems with a spirit of being collaborative and solution focussed



Identifying risks: F lag any risks that could have a detrimental effect on the project and be proactive in mitigating against these and offering solutions



Competitor analysis : Perform competitor analysis and understand the competitive landscape to influence what we develop and ensure its best in class

  • Product Management: Solid commercial experience defining and developing consumer or digital products
  • Digital KPIs: Understand and influence traffic, conversion, drop-outs, NPS
  • Powerpoint: Able to concisely convey a story with visual impact
  • Personalisation: Experience of digital decisioning and personalisation, including personalised recommendations and pricing
  • Commercial: Able to understand commercial and consumer benefits of different features
  • Pro-active and solution orientated: Assessing what needs to happen and driving it forward
  • Influencing: Ability to influence key stakeholders on priority, costs and roadmaps
  • Negotiation and compromise skills: Able negotiate to achieve the right outcomes for the business and our customers
  • Make recommendations: Ability to provide rapid options and recommendations for project priorities, allocation of resources and budgets
  • Prioritisation and work management: Be comfortable with multiple competing demands from different stakeholders and find ways to achieve win-win outcomes
  • Comfort with ambiguity: Be comfortable managing ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Self management: Able to manage your workload, identify then remove roadblocks and solve challenges constructively as they arise. Where challenges persist you escalate in a timely manner
  • Working at pace: Able to work at pace to complete multiple priorities
  • Adobe target: Ability to monitor digital performance and understand how your area is performing
  • Analytical skills: Able to understand what success looks like and independently build commercial cases to demonstrate benefits
  • Presenting: Ability to manage / present to stakeholders
  • A degree : 2:1 or above
  • Industry experience of working in a Digital team as a Product Manager
  • Agile methodology experience
