Site Manager - House Builder
Job Description An established residential housing developer seek an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build development of 27 homes in Chesterfield.
The role:
As an experienced Site Manager you will provide overall leadership of the project and the construction teams on site. You will be responsible for all elements of the day to day running such as sub contract management, Health and safety (H&S), weekly subcontractor meetings, daily site diary and monitoring of costs.
The Project is currently at set-up stage with the successful Site Manager expected to see the job from day 1 to completion before moving on to another project in Sheffield.
The Company:
A privately owned house builder. They build traditional open market private housing schemes across the East Midlands and Yorkshire. Typical sites range up to a 30 houses per development. They build luxury and quality housing developments.
The Person:
It is likely you will have previously worked as either a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager in a similar house building environment. It is essential to have an SMSTS and 1st Aid qualification, as well as a driving licence.
Skills and Experience: Clear evidence of managing a similar type of project from day 1. Ideally a minimum of 5 years within pure housebuilding
