Training Co-ordinator
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and highly organised person to manage the co-ordination, planning and administration of Apprenticeship training. You will be based in the Akari Care Leeds office with a need to travel.
You will be employed by Learning Curve Group and based with our strategic partner, Akari Care. Akari Care is a family of Residential Care Homes spread across the UK, with the largest concentration of homes in the North East. You will be working closely with the CEO of Akari Care to achieve this.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• First point of contact for Apprenticeship training enquiries from individual sites
• Actively promote Apprenticeship training across all Akari Care sites
• Liaise with sites to agree staff members to undertake Apprenticeship programmes
• Contact staff members to confirm availability for agreed enrolment session
• Track staff signups onto agreed Apprenticeship programmes and ensure successful enrolment
• Ensure onsite resources are available for agreed enrolment session
• Report on site non-compliance with the overall Apprenticeship vision of Akari Care
• Maintain confidentially at all times
• Respect the confidentiality of information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act at all times
• Ensure the dignity and respect of every staff member, service user and/or resident is maintained at all times
• Undertake a wide range of training administration work to support both Learning Curve Group and Akari Care
• Produce a schedule of reports to a high standard
You'll need these important qualities:
• A responsible and adaptable attitude with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Effective at problem solving and confident in communicating with people at all levels both verbally and in writing
• Able to influence senior members of staff
• Proven ability to work under pressure to conflicting priorities in a demanding fast paced environment
• Highly computer literate, numerate and self-motivated with have the ability to manage, plan and prioritise your own workload as well as good customer service skills.
