CONTRACT ROLE
Are you an experienced Quality Technician or Quality Engineer, looking for immediate work?
If so, my Derbyshire based client have an opportunity for you to work in their Quality office, initially on an ongoing contract basis (5-6 months estimated).
The Role:
- To ensure the company maintains a Quality Management System (QMS) that satisfies their minimum requirements
- To carry out internal audits to ensure continued compliance with the established procedures
- To carry out external audits of subcontractors
- Maintaining, administrating and updating quality procedures
- Continuously monitor non-conformance and introduce corrective actions
- Ensure at all times that the company satisfies customer approval and airworthiness regulations, and that these are actively controlled
- Produce monthly reports showing customer returns, rework, scrap, quality improvement reports etc
- Day Shifts, Monday to Friday 08.45 to 17.00, however these are flexible
- 37.5 hours per week
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Background as a Quality Technician or Quality Engineer
- Experienced in auditing and monitoring non-conformance
- Engineering industry background would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong administration and IT software skills
- Must be able to commute to the Derby DE55 area
The Package:
- Initially a contract role, expected to last 5-6 months minimum
- Excellent pay rate of up to GBP13.95 per hour
- Day Shifts, Monday to Friday 08.45 to 17.00, however these are flexible
- 37.5 hours per week
- Some additional perks to be discussed at interview stage
