Sociology Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sociology teacher for an exceptional school based in West London. This post is to start after the Easter break in April, it will be on a full time basis. They are looking for a Sociology teacher to work predominantly at Key Stage 5. The school has a fantastic Social Sciences faculty at the school and Sociology is a popular option at A Level with in the school. The school wants to look over CVs ASAP, then meet teachers as soon possible.

SCHOOL INFORMATION

The school is based in a lovely area in West London and the school was rated as "Outstanding" by OFSTED in its last inspection. The school was formally a Grammar School and its fantastic standards have been maintained. Following changes in legislation the school became a Foundation School in 1998. The school held Beacon School status from July 2000 until it became a Leading Edge school in July 2003. It won the School Achievement Award for Excellence for each of the three years it ran. Their Head teacher was knighted in the Queen's birthday Honours for services to education.

REQUIREMENTS

Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career including NQT's and both British trained Sociology teachers and overseas Sociology teachers will be considered for this position.
