Prospero Integrated are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join one of our leading live event production and equipment rental clients in the Manchester area. Their stock includes the latest technology in sound, lighting, vision, rigging and staging & set.
The successful applicant will be a well organised leader, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team of warehouse technicians, alongside other members of permanent and freelance staff. They will be at home in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressures of working in a busy company.
Duties
• Communication with Operations Manager for forward planning
• Overseeing preparation of equipment for productions and dry hires to the highest standard
• Liaising with dry hire customers to ensure orders of out correctly and clients' needs are met
• Hands on preparation of equipment
• Managing progress and work rates of the warehouse team
• Improving efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse operations
• Health and safety within the warehouse
• Managing the warehouse schedule of work and booking additional employees, as required.
• Developing procedures to increase standards and maximise productivity
• Scheduling service, maintenance and repair of equipment including organising testing and inspection of lifting and electrical equipment.
• Managing the warehouse schedule of work and booking additional employees as required.
• Stock management
• Managing regular inspections of company vehicles and forklift truck and organising service as required.
• Loading and unloading of company vehicles and trucks.

• Excellent IT skills

• Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines

• Full UK Driving License
Training and Career Progression
Training will be provided, as required. Career progression within the company will be available.
Working hours
Standard working hours would be 08:30-17:30 Monday to Friday, overtime is available
