About the team

Our team provides international tax and treasury advice to mid tier plcs, private business, and inbound multinational clients. We have a broad range of clients, many of whom are household names - generally they are outside of the FTSE 100 and have relatively small inhouse tax teams, if at all (often our relationship is with the CFO or group FC). The work is technically demanding and creative, and offers opportunities to work on major corporate transactions, international structuring, finance and treasury tax, and a range of day-to-day UK tax matters.

You will be responsible for building close relationships with a wide range of clients, working as part of a team and delivering the Firms tax services. You will benefit from a progressive environment where you will be encouraged to develop client relationships, technical and people management skills.

About the role

The client work is technically stimulating, rarely routine and offers opportunities to help solve the tax and business issues of companies that are household names. The work is wide-ranging including major corporate transactions, cross-border structuring projects and providing international tax and treasury advice. As either a Manager or Senior Manager you will have the opportunity to work with Directors and Partners on your client teams.

The team will provide you with the opportunity to put into practice your tax technical skills in a stimulating and challenging environment.

You will work on complex international structuring projects and in addition have a portfolio of clients where the need for international tax advice is significant and ongoing. Client teams range in size depending on the client and nature of the work. In addition, you will have a People Manager who will manage your performance, well-being and development.

In terms of development opportunities, you will be able to progress your career in the Firm through gaining wide-ranging experience across industries and locations. Being a global organisation we are able to offer staff the opportunity to go on international secondments and there are further options to develop technically and professionally through varied client secondments.

Essential skills and experience
•UK professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA/legal qualification) or overseas equivalent.

•You will have gained significant international and UK corporate tax advisory experience.

•You will need a flexible approach to allow you to work as part of a number of client teams simultaneously.

•You will have experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internally.

•You will need strong analytical skills and a proven ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative and creative way.
