We are currently recruiting for experienced German speaking customer sevice agents to work for a fantastic organisation that are a global market leader in strategic shareholder communications and consulting services.

You will work in a busy team working with clients to ensure their shareholders are fully engaged with business activities.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:


  • Ensure institutional investors are called to ascertain their willingness to vote or tender at an Annual General Meeting of shareholders. Obtain information on which way they will submit a vote;
  • Poll the investors for other commentary and opinion;
  • Call custodians/nominees/brokers to determine whether they have passed along information to their clients, and if they have transferred any votes or tendered instructions from their clients;
  • Research relevant contacts at institutions in the corporate actions department as well as the relevant fund manager at large institutions, brokers, and custodians, and ensure this is captured for future reference on other projects;
  • Maintain accurate records of call outcomes via the internal database;
  • Research past voting activity of certain investors to determine precedents in voting behaviour.
  • Input into a central database the voting and governance policies, as well as their use of a proxy advisor of the largest institutions globally;
  • Prepare client reports on investor feedback as to their voting/tendering intention;
  • Support all the account managers in London and throughout Europe on their client projects.

  • Candidate Requirements

    • Very high attention to detail
    • Professional and friendly telephone manner
    • Accuracy when recording feedback (good spelling is a must!)
    • Ability to multi-task multiple client projects
    • Background in financial services (back office functions)
    • Proactive approach
    • Language skills are always welcome (French, German & Dutch)

    Hours & Pay

    GBP13 p/h

    Full time: 9am - 6pm (Flexibility required)
