Victim Support are looking for a field based Learning & Development advisor, who will be based within the Bristol area but will responsible for training delivery in the Wales & West region. This will involve travel in the region and some overnight stays. Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.This is an exciting role that requires a mixture of skills in relation to learning and development. The role is varied and will involve delivery, design and management of learning to support staff and volunteers within Victim Support. As the face of learning and development within your area you will build positive relationships, promote learning and act in an advisory capacity when it comes to development. You will;Deliver face to face training for our volunteers, staff and partners. There is an expectation that you will deliver 3 days per week, with 2 days administration work. This delivery will be across the locality.Work with Subject Matter Experts and senior staff within Victim Support on learning projects within the organisation.Promote Victim Support's services and identify any commercial training opportunities.Create accurate delegate reports and take appropriate action to address any identified under-performance.Deliver high quality presentations and learning interventions with a focus on evaluation and continuous improvement.It is essential to be able to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing and conflicting demands in an organised and effective manner.The post is for 37.5 hrs per week and a degree of flexibility is necessary.This role will work from home but will have significant travel across the locality.Victim Support offers competitive rewards and benefits including pension and life assurance, 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), voluntary benefits such as season ticket loans and the opportunity to play a key role in a national charity providing world-class services to victims and witnesses and being a vital force for change.Applications should be explicit enough to provide good evidence against the shortlisting criteria, which are marked in the person specification as (s).
