You must be a purposeful SEN English Teacher who has experience of working with both SEN and EAL pupils and a track record of 'Good' or better teacher. The school's perfect candidate is a dedicated SEN English teacher who can build a positive environment on a blueprint of their own enthusiasm when supporting children who have a range of needs associated to social and behavioural difficulties, many also have a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD.

You will be moving into an especially creative English Department and as SEN English Teacher you will be joining a well-managed and resourced department. In your role as SEN English Teacher you will have the responsibility of playing a key role in KS3 - KS4 teaching using your understanding and experience to make a positive impact to GCSe results. Your teaching will be supported by a team productive and focussed Graduate Teaching Assistants who know the class well and are experienced in leading small interventions themselves.
