Real Estate Secretary - (Afternoons, circa 25 hours a week) A unique job opportunity to join our Real Estate team in Bristol as a Secretary. This is a part time role to work each day during the afternoon, perhaps 2-6pm, 3-7pm or maybe later. We're open to discussion. What do the Real Estate team do? Our Real Estate teams are growing, fast. With a national presence of over 200 fee earners across 9 UK locations we're a force to be reckoned with. So what are we looking for? In order to provide excellent service to clients, we need excellent people. Aside from our Lawyers we also need skilled and talented support staff and this leads to our current opening in Bristol. We are looking for a Secretary who has experience of working in the legal sector, ideally within property/real estate to support a team of real estate lawyers. The team are part of a large national team of over 200 experts that spans each of our seven offices across the UK. You must have a strong legal secretarial background with proven experience of working within a professional law firm. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential, as are excellent IT skills and a strong team ethic. Good communication and relationship building skills are a must, as is the ability to meet deadlines. We use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, so experience of working with these and other bespoke legal packages is necessary. What experience do I need? It goes without saying that you'll need previous legal secretarial experience for this role You'll also need be able to work closely with your team members in delivering a first class service to our clients. You must also be able to demonstrate strong audio typing skills (using BigHand digital dictation), be a strong team player with a flexible attitude to work. In order to provide this excellent service to clients, we need excellent people. We use Microsoft Word, Excel, Filesite, and Skype for Business so excellent IT capabilities are necessary.
