PLANNING & LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR (AUTOMOTIVE) 6 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT: CHESTER / NORTH WALES AREA, SALARY GBP23-GBP26K. LARGE MULTINATIONAL COMPANY UNDERGOING A PERIOD OF GROWTH AND POSITIVE DEVELOPMENT.

The Client

Our client is part of a huge multinational company with operations and offices all over the world, with an innovative and high technology range of products. As part of their continued growth they are presently seeking a Planning and Logistics Administrator.

The Role

To manage customer orders and enquiries, ensuring orders are acknowledged as speedily as possible.
To supply equipment quotations to customers in an efficient and timely fashion.
To liaise with Equipment Operations and Purchasing to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
To take responsibility for maintaining a detailed log of all orders and quotations during the Contract Review process to ensure the response time to the customer is minimised.
To monitor the order book so that customer enquiries can be answered in a timely manner.
To enter customer purchase order into the ERP system.
To arrange transport for customer deliveries when required
To ensure, when required, that all export documentation (eg. Letters of credit, certificates of origin, etc.) are completed in a timely manner.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Company.

The Person
Skills & Experience Required

Experience working within a Production Planning environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexible approach to working
Conscientious, positive attitude to quality and workmanship.
Team player with the ability to work alone.
Committed and dedicated to complete tasks.
An ability to make decisions, use initiative and carry out appropriate actions in line with the company policy and strategy
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good IT skills
Methodical approach with good attention to detail when planning and carrying out tasks
Good communication skills
Keen to learn new things quickly and have an interest in career development and training within the workplace

Education / Qualifications
Good standard of education or equivalent
