Broker Support - H&B

We're hiring!

Aon are currently recruiting a Broker Support - H&B to join our team in Leeds or Farnborough. The Broker Support - H&B will be primarily responsible for supporting the broking process within the Aon Employee Benefits Broking Centre of Excellence (CoE). The Broker Support role is integral to the successful operation of the Centre of Excellence and will overtime build up their knowledge on insurance markets and products brokered.

The Broker Support will work in pillar specific groups (Healthcare, Risk, or DC), and report into a CoE Broking Lead and ultimately into the Head of Broking. We are looking for high quality individuals to fill this role as they will be the key to ensuring our clients receive the best possible terms and solutions to fit their needs.

About the Role

As a Broker Support - H&B some of your key responsibilities will involve:

Key responsibilities:
  • Work closely with our administration team to build and issue RFPs to market
  • Ensure all market review reports are completed within the timescale allocated and Aon provides high quality advice and recommendations in line with the clients objectives
  • Assist with all insurer queries that relate to an RFP and respond within 24 hours
  • Take part in TBS training and provide ongoing feedback to help develop our broking platform
  • Assist insurers with any queries they have with using our broking system
  • Maintain long-term relationships with internal colleagues as well as insurers
  • Stay up-to-date with employee benefit trends in the industry, monitor market developments
  • Work closely with the new business sales team on broking new business
  • Be actively involved in internal initiatives aimed at driving efficiency and building our team infrastructure
  • Ensure that any potential E&O cases are addressed in accordance with an appropriate procedure to minimise Aon's exposure
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
