Primary Teacher Job

We are working with a small village primary school on the outskirts of Crowborough to find a KS2 teacher for the last 6 weeks of the summer term.

The school are looking for a Year 4 teacher to take on class teaching responsibilities from the 19th of June until the end of July.

This warm and welcoming school are looking for an inspirational class teacher to cover a maternity leave within their permanent staff team. You will be working in a friendly and caring school where staff feel valued and there is a real sense of a team spirit. Pupils behave impeccably in lessons and they approach learning with confidence and determination to succeed. Leadership is strong, with a Head that truly cares about the well-being of all members of the school community. Rurally located in the Sussex countryside, the school benefits from an abundance of outside learning space with two playgrounds, a quiet area, a pond, a natural wildlife area and a school garden. The grounds provide excellent opportunities for environmental work as well as ample facilities for sports and play.

With 30 keen and inquisitive learners in your new class, it will be your responsibility to maintain the excellent progress the children have already made this year through Terms 1 - 5. Good long-term planning and resources are already in place from previous years, though it will be your responsibility to plan and differentiate from these historical plans. The school are looking for a committed teacher, able to take on all teaching responsibilities with planning, preparation and assessments, parents evenings and staff meetings. You will be "paid to scale" during this assignment to reflect the additional workload, with holiday pay rolled into this rate.
