The Role:
As a Service Engineer, you will service warden call alarms at customers’ homes throughout the South/East Midlands area.
Your territory will primarily cover Milton Keynes and Northampton, but you may be required to travel as far as Oxford, Peterborough, and the outskirts of London.
Specifically, your role will involve:
- Working on all systems in-line with British Standards, industry accreditations and SLAs
- Processing jobs via a tablet or PDA
- Keeping accurate records of completed work
- Participating in an on-call rota (for one in every four weeks)
About You:
To join our client as a Service Engineer, you’ll need:
- Fire and security engineering experience
- FIA 1 and 5 qualifications
- A full, valid driving licence
- Great communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
Ideally, you’ll have experience of working on warden call, door access and intruder alarms, but this isn’t essential.
Other companies may call this role Field Service Engineer, Fire Service Engineer, Security Service Engineer, Warden Call Maintenance Engineer, Preventative Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Repair & Maintenance Engineer or Senior Service Technician.
Please note, as this role involves carrying out work in the homes of vulnerable people, the successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS check.
