Barclays are recruiting for a permanent Transformation Analyst to work in the Barclays site in Northampton

Contact Centre Technology is accountable for performance, stability, and availability of the Strategic contact centre platforms across Barclays. They define and deliver the architectural roadmap for all contact centres systems through change, extension and planning in accordance with delivery processes, financial and change governance. They front all requests from the business acting as a single point of contact across the technical community. They act as a conscience by owning the product lifecycle cradle to grave, and providing a consistent approach to delivery, remediation and risk management supporting business requirements and internal/external regulations.

The Group ExCo have been working to create firm-wide global capabilities to enable us to deliver a seamless experience for our customers at all touch. There is a clear opportunity for increased consistency, consolidation and a more customer-centric approach in our branches, SkyBranches and Global Contact Centres; in particular those Contact Centres related to UK Community and Premier Banking, Mortgages, Cards in the UK, USA and Germany.

Your Role

To provide Programme Management services for major programme, project or portfolio to support the overall delivery of the desired outcomes and benefits in line with Barclay's governance requirements and best practice.

  • Ensure all stakeholders including Accountable Executives have complete oversight on the project / programme progress and status as required
  • Apply and monitor the standards of regular status reporting
  • Ensure adherence to process and timetable for regular reporting
  • Support PMs in Project Control and Compliance in line with agreed Project Delivery Lifecycle Framework (SDLC, iCompass and project governance) ensuring that non-compliance is remediated in a timely manner
  • Undertake detailed governance checks for all mandated, agreed documentation and provide SME support to programme / project while passing through gates
  • Carry out deep dives / health checks on projects to evaluate their progress, levels of control and make recommendations. Recommend corrective / preventative procedures to improve adherence to quality standards


Essential Skills
  • Sound commercial acumen, awareness of financial process and terminology
  • Good understanding of project lifecycle, Project Management and PMO methodologies and tools
  • Experience of working in a project environment and / or process documentation, mapping, analysis for improvement
  • Analysis, creativity and innovation - ability to analyse raw data and build practical solutions, processes and tools to complex and business critical problems


Desirable Skills
  • Prince II/PMI certifications
  • Accountancy qualified (or part-qualified)
