A supplier of high quality radiators and accessories are currently seeking a Direct Imports Logistics Coordinator.

The Direct Imports Logistics Coordinator role is an important position within the company and requires an individual with a solid logistical background and excellent numerical skills.

As the Direct Imports Logistics Coordinator your responsibilities will include the following:

Duties: 

• Prepare all documents for customs clearance.
• Ensure customers orders are delivered by the required dates.
• Remotely facilitate the shipping of products from our factories to our customers.
• Deals with pricing and stock availability queries for customers over the phone.
• Proactively encourage customers to place orders and follow through to delivery.
• Interact with our UK 3PL partner and manage all logistical exceptions.
• Liaise with Quality Team to avoid quality control issues or chargebacks from customers.
• Manages activities throughout the order cycle to make sure established deadlines are met and customers informed of any changes.
• Continually reviews costs and economies of scale to keep logistics costs down where possible.
• Holiday cover for other members of the Operations team.
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Skills

• Excellent numerical analysis skills
• Proven track record on a role where end-to-end ownership of a logistical cycle was required.
• At least 2 years of using any ERP system

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
