Construction Teacher - Long Term with Permanent Possibilities
Kent Supply Desk is seeking a highly motivated Construction Teacher for an inclusive and collaborative client school in the Medway area of Kent. Our client school has a strong Senior Leadership Team with a developed ethos to actively encourage high attainment and achievement for both staff and pupils.
This is an exciting long term opportunity with permanent possibilities to commence from April 2018. The ideal individual will have industry experience with a passion about construction and passing on essential vocational skills to an upcoming generation. Teaching and/or an assessors award would also be desirable.
Within in this role you will teach across a wide range of disciplines including City and Guilds level 2 Painting and Decorating, City and Guilds Level 2 Carpentry and BTEC Construction and Built Environment to Year 9 through to Sixth Form Students.
The candidate
Teaching and/or assessors experience
Have an interest and commitment to improving outcomes for pupils
Have a holistic approach to pupil development
Have an inclusive approach to student and parent relationships
