Our client is the main provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and is fast on its way to becoming outstanding having achieved a good Ofsted grade in June 2015.

Our client has launched a new additional learning support service to their students this academic year called The Learning and Skills Development Service ( LSDS).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a SEBD (Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Specialist Adviser to work with LSDS Managers, curriculum staff, Learning and Development Coaches, Student Services and Personal Advisers to improve behaviours for learning, support retention, achievement and progression of students with a range of needs.

As an SEBD Specialist Adviser, you will work with the Head of LSDS and LSDS Managers to review policies and procedures, develop and maintain LSDS resources, work with staff to advise on support strategies ensuring that teaching/tutoring strategies and materials are appropriate for the learner's needs.

To be successful you will hold a Level 4 qualification or Degree or equivalent relating to special educational needs and/or SEBD and have previous experience of assessing individuals support needs. Additionally, you will have evidence of understanding Government Policy and initiatives on learning and skills in relation to the Code of Practice and supporting the needs of LLDD. It is essential you have a full clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
