Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is one of the largest locally-based housing groups in the East Midlands. We manage over 8,900 homes and are continually developing new homes for sale, rent, shared ownership and ‘try before you buy’ schemes. We also deliver first class care and support across the region, through invaluable and diverse services that covers people with learning disabilities, those with poor mental health, people fleeing domestic abuse and younger people who are vulnerably housed.
As we go through a period of exciting change, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Head of HR to join us at our Head Office in Nottingham. This is a truly varied leadership role encompassing all elements of HR and Learning & Development.
The Head of Human Resources plays an integral role in our success, within this key role you will provide strategic leadership, managing the development and delivery of a range of HR services, presenting pragmatic HR and L&D solutions and advising on organisational issues where necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will already hold a Senior HR management position at a strategic level delivering HR and learning and development solutions. An expert in the field, you will be educated to degree level, holding a relevant professional qualification and membership of CIPD. As such, you will be able to demonstrate extensive, up to date knowledge of employment legislation and change management. Additionally, knowledge of utilising HR metrics and managing budgets is essential.
