Accounts Junior/Semi Senior
An excellent opportunity to join a progressive accountancy practice, the role will provide ongoing in-house training along with supporting studies, along with the exposure to a wide variety of general accounting duties working across a diverse client portfolio
The Role
Our client is a highly successful independent firm of Accountants. Due to continued growth within the business and a recent merger, the firm are looking to recruit a part qualified AAT or ACCA Accounts Junior/Semi Senior to join the firms Doncaster office.
The firm have a varied client base of mainly small to medium sized OMB's, as a result the role will offer an excellent opportunity to develop experience within a full accounting environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Accounts Junior/Semi Senior role will work alongside a team of accountants, providing support for a varied portfolio of client, which will include:
Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
VAT returns
Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
Client Bookkeeping
Supporting clients with various queries and advising in accounting solutions
Skills and Qualities
To be considered for this position it is likely you will be a part qualified ACCA or AAT with at least 2 years of experience working within a firm of accountants. You will have developed experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax computation with little supervision.
Applications of individuals who have decided not to take the formal qualification route but have developed suitable experience within a firm of accountants would also be encouraged.
A good working knowledge of Sage and Xero accounting software will also be a distinct advantage, although full training will be provided.
The firm will provide individuals with a structured internal training program and will also support studies within both AAT and ACCA
Package
The firm will offer in-house training along with study support if required, working within a highly supportive environment
Salary - GBP15,000 -GBP20,000 dependent upon experience
