JOB TITLE: Service/Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION: Bar Hill, Cambridge

SALARY & BENEFITS: Subject to experience + Company van

WORKING HOURS: Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:30

Our client , based in Bar hill, Cambridge, specialises in the sale, installation and maintenance of  air compressors including Boge, HPC, FPS and Atlas Copco, cleaning equipment including Karcher and Numatic, generators including Honda and Stephill. They now have an excellent opportunity for a Service/Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service/Maintenance Engineer to join a busy organisation. Based in Bar Hill, Cambridge you will work on equipment in both our workshop and at various clients locations across East Anglia.

Key Responsibilities to Include:

• Installing and servicing a range of electro mechanical equipment in our workshop and at the clients locations.
• Liaising with the Service Co-ordinator for daily management of workloads.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for service/Maintenance Engineer position will have some experience of working with electro mechanical equipment such as air compressors, generators and cleaning equipment, although some training will be given. You will be able to work as part of a team, as well as on one’s own and will be willing to travel to different locations throughout East Anglia. You will have good communication skills and be confident in liaising with both new and existing customers.

Key experience/requirements essential for the role:

• An Aptitude towards electro mechanical equipment.
• Must hold a full current UK driving licence.
• Flexibility towards working hours and locations.
