Science Technician
Required as soon as possible
A well-qualified, motivated person is required for the post of Science Technician to work 35 hours per week in term time plus 10 days during the school holidays in the Science Department. Proven experience of working in a Chemistry or Physics Laboratory is desirable. Science is taught at GCSE and Advanced Level therefore practical experience in an educational environment would be an advantage. The post will involve working with the Chemistry and Physics technicians primarily, therefore flexibility and the ability to communicate are important.
The full time equivalent salary for the post is in the range from GBP20,160 to GBP22,850 p.a. inclusive of Outer London Weighting for Grade B and GBP25,260 to GBP28,750 p.a. inclusive for Grade C. This equates to a pro-rata salary of GBP16,460 to GBP18,640 p.a. inclusive for Grade B and GBP20,605 to GBP23,450 p.a. inclusive for Grade C.
