We are a media network that exists to provide the best possible broadcasting for the UK armed forces and their families. We want to use data to make sure we’re doing this. This is a new role for someone who will use analysis and evaluation tools to help is decide what content we make, what stories we tell, and what our audience is interested in.
Digital Analyst / Customer Insights Data Analyst Role/ Person Profile...
You’ll have experience in a journalism, media, communications, or a PR organisation and can use your analytical skills to turn data into plain English insights. You’ll have in-depth knowledge of native social media analytical tools, be comfortable using packages like Brandwatch or Ripjar, and have the ability to produce smart, informative reports.
You’ll be working across our business with our digital, radio, news, and TV teams to help our content be the best it can be. You’ll be analytically minded with the ability to tell stories with the information you gather.
We are in the early stages of harnessing data and we’ll be relying on you to help us shape your work.
You will need to go through SC level security clearance for this role.
Digital Analyst / Customer Insights Data Analyst Skills Required...
Essential:
+ In-depth knowledge of digital analytics
+ Thorough understanding of the main social media platforms and how content is measured on them
+ Strong understanding of tools like Google Analytics, Chartbeat, and Brandwatch
+ The ability to interpret data to help inform content production, audience development, and business decisions
+ Comfortable briefing senior stakeholders and management
+ Clear presentation skills
Desirable:
+ Graphic design skills
+ An understanding of broadcast evaluation such as RAJAR or BARB
Benefits:
+ Holiday: 25 days per annum, increasing to 27 days after 3 years service.
