We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for one of our clients based in Newark. A range of shifts are available with attractive rates of pay.
Job involves:
• manual handling, which includes picking up and putting away various size items that range from SD cards to Hoovers and Microwaves
• wrapping pallets
• using RF guns to scan/putaway products
• moving pallets using pallet trucks
• zoning (assigning units to relevant bins using RF scanners)
• looking after stock
Skills and knowledge:
• Attention to detail. Making sure stock gets moved to right locations using RF scanners, operating pallet trucks
• Performance driven. Working to achieve department and own set targets
• Health & Safety orientated
• Technology "Friendly", have at least basic knowledge of using computers
• Good communication, able to report issues to FLM/Specialist (supervisors)
• basic English required to understand instructions
• Friendly and respectful to others, able to work as one strong team
• Not scared of a physical challenge
working hours are ;
4on 4off
