Policy and Intelligence Officer
Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we're taking it on. We are supporting those affected by the disease, investing in ground breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer, and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. You will be performing desk based research into relevant cancer statistics and preparing Excel platforms that bring together a range of intelligence sources. This analysis will help to provide up to date and fresh insights into the landscape of pancreatic cancer and will guide and support our policy and campaigning work. You will have a key role in policy development for the charity on the basis of evidence and research. You will write policy positions, briefing papers, consultations responses and statistical reports for internal and external audiences. You will also play a key role in monitoring health and cancer policy, the research funding and infrastructure landscape across the four UK nations and implementation of the national Cancer Strategy and national guidelines for pancreatic cancer.
