An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Toolmaker / Skilled Manual Machinist to join our busy workshop in Skelmersdale.
We are a privately-owned company established for 20 years in the Marine and Power Industry.
The Role
- Toolmaker/Skilled Manual Machinist
- Manual Boring, Milling, Turning
- Surface Grinding
- Working in our machine shop to support our main workshop needs
Skills And Experience Required
- Must be fully time served in an engineering field i.e. Toolmaker / Skilled Manual Machinist
- Have experience working in a heavy engineering environment. • Must be able to read and work with engineering drawings and machine to very high tolerances
- Be Flexible with the possibility of overtime working
- Have excellent communication skills along with demonstrated problem-solving abilities, must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Follow all Health and Safety Regulations.
Benefits
- 38 Hours per week (Full time with early finish on a Friday)
- 25 Days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Paid Overtime when available.
