The Council is seeking to appoint a full-time Assistant Housing Options Manager (Strategy) on a temporary contract to 31 March 2021 with the possibility of an extension.

This is an interesting role working in a well-established and committed Team. The role includes, but is not restricted to:

Responsibility for leading on a number of Schemes with which the Council has partnership arrangements forms part of the role.  There are no line-management responsibilities connected to the Post.

The ability to write Strategies, Policies, and comprehensive review decision letters that meet with the requirements of the Homelessness Legislation is essential.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, or be a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing or hold the HNC/ONC in Housing or equivalent

The Council operates a flexi-time and flexi-leave scheme for staff. In addition, there is an opportunity for some home-working.
