Housekeeper -April to October( Seasonal Role) nr Truro

Housekeeper – required for small luxury hotel and award winning restaurant nr Truro- live in

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Housekeeper to join a small luxury Hotel and award winning rosette restaurant based close to Truro in a beautiful part of the West Cornish countryside.

This role will be a seasonal full time role, we are looking for someonw to start asap and work til at least the first week of October.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team and take responsibility for housekeeping throughout the property, including bedrooms, dining rooms and all public areas.

You will also be an all rounder as everyone works as a team and there will be shifts when you will required to help out on functions and weddings within the hotel as well. 

The normal housekeeper hours will be 9am-3.30pm, 5 days on with an additional day needed per week during late July and the whole of August to help with business needs, so it will be a six day week for this period.

• Attention to detail
• Organized and proactive approach to work
• Some previous housekeeping experience would be an advantage
• Flexibility regarding shifts

Due to the remote location of this position candidates will need to be able to travel independently but there is live in offered, they have dedicated bedsits with ensuite shower equipped bathroom, at £45 per week but variable downwards in accordance with actual hours worked if below the minimum. Candidates pay their own electricity.

The rate of pay is paid hourly, the rate is competitive, they also share a gratuities tronc and this is shared quarterly.

We are ideally looking for a candidate who is available to start immediately.
