Deputy Shop Manager

Our clients require a dynamic full time Deputy Charity Shop Manager to work in their Worthing shop. Must be highly proactive and be able to use own initiative in their busy, friendly shop.

 

As a Deputy Shop Manager you will be expected to:

 

•           Maintain the day to day operation of the shop in conjunction with the Manager.

•           Maximise profitability by reaching sales targets

•           Ensure the security of the premises, stock and cash

•           Work with the Shop Manager in the training, supervision and motivation of volunteer helpers


•           Select good quality stock, price and then ensure the highest presentation standards are adhered to

•           Ensure a safe and healthy working environment is provided and adhere to all policies.

 

 

The ideal Deputy Shop Manager will have:

 

•           Managements experience in the Charity or retail market.

•           An ability to drive sales.

•           Be friendly with good interpersonal and organisational skills.

•           Be adaptable and have an outgoing personality

•           Be numerate and able to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously in our busy shops.

•           Excellent customer service

This is a non-profit Christian organisation with 6 Charity Shops in Worthing and surrounding areas. They run a number projects to help rebuild lives, support education and communities in Eastern Europe including the very successful annual Shoebox appeal.
