Sopher + Co is an independent family owned accountancy firm which was established in 1975. Since then we’ve grown to a large practice, in accountancy terms, with over 110 employees based over two main offices. Our clients range from those in the entertainment industry, media and film, thought to not for profit organisations, start-up businesses and those that require our support with payroll or bookkeeping services.
This is where your role will help us to continue to give a first-class service to all our valued clients. You’ll be assisting with office duties which will range from reception cover, meeting and greeting visitors, arranging room bookings and refreshments, scanning receipts and other documents for client files, archiving, data entry of invoices and other office administration.
We’ll offer you the variety of working in all our departments, which will also involve basic payroll duties, updating client files, assisting our new starters, human resources support and stationary orders. Once you are up to speed, we’ll also value you support in assisting with telephone enquiries and basic accounts assistance.
You’ll have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be confident in your approach to your work. We’d also like you to have at least 5 GCSE’s, or equivalent, including English and Maths. You’ll also have accurate keyboard skills and be able to use word, excel and outlook to a good standard.
