Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technicians
Group Company: Paralloy
Location: Billingham, Cleveland
We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team to ensure that both electrical infrastructure and mechanical assets are maintained. This role will also act in an advisory capacity in aiding both the Maintenance Manager in ensuring maximum plant availability and best practice.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with Doncaster’s safety standards and procedures, ensuring a full Risk Assessment is carried out prior to undertaking any task.
- To act as a point of reference and knowledge to the teams, both Electrical & Mechanical.
- The maintaining of a safe electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Advising on and active involvement in electrical and mechanical breakdowns and faults.
- To liaise with production and ancillary departments to resolve any issues.
- Using appropriate data and systems to interact with SCADA/PLC & control systems.
- Liaise with and assist in the managing of third party contractors.
- Liaise and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- To provide cover for the Electrical and Mechanical Supervisors as required.
- Be actively involved in the site’s Energy Management Strategy.
- Be actively involved in various continuous improvement activities across the business.
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- City & Guilds electrical qualification 17th Edition & 2391.
- Recognised apprenticeship (Multi-Skilled or Electrical biased).
- Knowledge of plant control and the use of SCADA and PLC and control systems.
- Enthusiastic and computer literate, with good interpersonnel skills along with the ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised.
