IT Service Technician

I am actively looking to recruit a dedicated IT Service Technician/Engineer to be based in Launceston, this position is for an established company looking to expand within Cornwall. The primary purpose of this role is to provide onsite technical support, installation services and maintenance to a variety of industry clients. Successful applicant will have the technical ability but will need to have experience working with people providing the service and support, knowledge of network systems, Microsoft office 365, field engineering and server knowledge is essential.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

-          Provide a positive, proactive supportive service to clients

-          Provide a technical support to existing customer based, remotely and onsite ia managed service visits or project and installation delivery when required

-          Provided fixed IT technical support

-          Provide the highest level of customer service

-          Manage portfolio of clients ensuring that all activities are logged and documented

-          Create and maintain an accurate handover policy on all managed services

-          Report on going technical issues to line manager as well as recommendations for customer improvements

-          Provide on-site hardware maintenance support as and when required

-          Install and configure network systems

-          Undertake any additional duties inline with the scope of the position.
