We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At CCMS we are looking for a Male Support Worker to join our team based in South Tyneside. The successful candidate will join us on a part time, permanent position working 27 hours per week and will receive an hourly rate of £10.00 - £11.00 per hour

We offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries. We are looking for a Male Support Worker to become part of our growing, professional team, on a part-time basis.
Ultimately our aim is to empower and support people to reach their full potential and maximize their rehabilitation opportunities in order to promote the best quality of life.
About the role
Support Workers required to provide support and personal care to a 21-year-old male with an acquired brain injury, living in his family home in the South Tyneside area.
He suffers cognitive impairment and right sided weakness, which impairs his mobility.
The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social and recreational activities, and empowering him to be as independent as possible.
What we’re looking for in our Male Support Worker
Applicants require an empathetic approach, skills to provide focus & motivation and engage in therapeutic & community activities.
The client has interests in sport and exercise, cars, and socialising with friends and family, and applicants with similar interests would be desirable.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care, or previous care and support worker experience desirable.
Driver essential.
Successful applicants will join a multi-disciplinary team of professionals and will receive support, training and supervision.
