We are now seeking a Print Production Manager to take the lead in our printing activities and make sure the designs we produce continue to be exceptional.

Your Role: 

As the Print Production Manager, you will work from a customer site in Welwyn Garden City and oversee the printing process for designs and imagery. 

Ensuring that designs and imagery are print feasible, brand managed and meet the customer’s expectations, you will take ownership of the relationships between external printers and internal design teams. You’ll communicate with external design agencies, advise on appropriate proofing methods and work closely with the onsite project management team to ensure projects are delivered effectively. 

Taking this engaging role to the next level, you will: 

- Lead design meetings regarding new initiatives to enable an understanding of the scope of projects 
- Ensure design studios are provided with suitable briefs 
- Support the customer and develop strong relationships with key decision makers 
- Source and validate new printer specifications 

About You: 

To be considered as the Print Production Manager, you will need: 

- A background in print packaging coupled with artwork and reproduction 
- The ability to lead PPM meetings and design agencies and printers 
- Client facing experience 
- The ability to provide insight into colour separation for multiple printing techniques 
- A track record of taking minutes and fully documenting key points from meetings 
- Relationship building skills and the ability to manage relationships between geographically dispersed facilities
