This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at SED Services Ltd to assist in the provision of a professional payroll/health and safety service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with previous payroll experience. You will need to have a working knowledge of Pay as You Earn (PAYE) calculations, have proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, as well as having a positive can-do attitude. You will need to be flexible and self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills, be capable of working on your own initiative, dealing with a busy and varied workload to tight deadlines.

Flexible working patterns will be considered. Salary £18,000 to £22,000 depending on experience. 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, company pension available and free parking.
The Job Role
- Create new employee files: Add new employees to the payroll, training matrix and holiday calendars
- Send monthly reports to an external payroll bureau for payment
- Manage pension contributions
- Appraisals
- Management of Health &Safety and developing safe systems of Work
- Co ordinating incident reporting and investigations
- Quarterly audits
- Updating training matrix
- Updating tool box talks and competency checks
- Liaising with transport department re drivers hours
- Processing clock cards and job sheets
- Attendance, sickness and holiday reports to management
- Other administrative duties as and when required
