Statutory Reporting Accountant
London
I am currently working with a leading Insurance company to source for a Statutory Reporting Accountant on a 14 month contract.
Role requirements;
* Preparation of the statutory accounts
* Reconcile statutory accounts to the SAP ledger and the UK GAAP files and ensure all relevant adjustments are recorded in the ledger
* Prepare Solvency II reporting templates for the PRA
* Support the hiring manager with the Financial Analytics for the company, using both business knowledge and trends.
Essential profile requirements;
* Qualified Accountant
* UK GAAP and Solvency II reporting
* General Insurance experience
Desirable profile requirements;
* Ability to self-manage and organise own deliverables to meet agreed deadlines
* Able to effectively liaise and co-ordinate across other departments and European branches to achieve reporting objectives
* Communicate with external parties including auditors, suppliers and regulatory bodies such as PRA
