We have a new opportunity for a vibrant and committed Community Fundraiser within our highly effective Fundraising team to cover the Marlborough area. The fundraiser (community) is part of a team whose main focus is to generate income through a variety of fundraising methods. You will pro-actively seek ways to fundraise in the local community, including assisting with the organisation and delivery of the Prospect's programme of community fundraising activities, initiating and researching ideas for new activities and community events, working within the fundraising expenditure budget and in conjunction with the Events and Community Manager lead and manage the development and promotion of community fundraising initiatives throughout the year. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and creative, ideally with a track record of planning and organising events. You will be organised, driven and possess confident interpersonal skills, be able to plan and prioritise their own workload and have a genuine enjoyment of working with and alongside people in a diverse range of settings. You will also be confident in speaking to a wide range of audiences; encouraging them to engage, get involved and become passionate about their activities, and about the Hospice. There will be a requirement to work evenings/weekends to support community activities and events as necessary. The position will be based both in our offices in Wroughton and cover the Marlborough area so travel to and from Marlborough will be a regular part of the role. A full current UK driving licence is required for this role.
