G4S is the largest secure outsourcing company in the UK and Ireland. We were successful in winning a new contract to deliver security services and systems to the DWP. This is one of the largest integrated security contracts of its kind awarded in the UK.

As result we have exciting opportunities for Security Officers to join the G4S Secure Solutions (UK) team in Thirsk and surrounding areas.

If you already hold a current SIA licence we will pay you £250 after six months of employment and a further £250 after 12 months service.

Role Responsibility:

For our Security Officers, it's the care and attention you put into the little tasks that makes all the difference.  You will be working as part of a diverse and dedicated team in a busy, public facing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the most high-profile and respected brands in the UK. This is primarily a security role, but also demands exemplary customer service skills.  You must be confident, articulate and able to communicate well, both written and verbally in what can sometimes be challenging situations. Don’t worry if you do not have any security experience as we will be able to train you.

We will be offering successful applicants full SIA training, guaranteed hours contracts with core hours Monday - Friday on day shifts, overtime at weekends is also available, free uniform, 20 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays, Company Sick Pay Scheme, Pension and Contributory Health Plan.

The Ideal Candidate:

Ideal candidates will need to provide a 5 year career history and have unrestricted right to work in the UK as security screening for these positions will apply, however we can discuss this further prior to your interview.

Drivers with own reliable transport and full driving licence is essential for these roles due to locations.
