We are now looking for a Plate Finisher to join us in Hull and help make our printing solutions the best in the world. 

Your Role: 

As a Plate Finisher, you will be responsible for drying, finishing, cutting of plates, to being completed to the final plate checking stage for all SGS packaging customers for whom printing plates are produced. 

Key Responsibilities: 

- SOPs on all aspects of plate finishing, visual checks, damage, solvent marks, cutting plates manually or on the cutting table, tasks completed on MySGS, plates to be taking through to despatch. 
- Responsibility for making sure all plates are finished to high standard 

Your Skills and Abilities: 

- Eye for detail on all aspects of finishing plates include, damage plates, ricing, orange peel, solvent marks 
- Must be computer literate 
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and be a part of a team 
- Ability to work under pressure 
- Leadership 
- Self-motivation 
- Communication 

Advantageous: 

- Plate making experience in the knowing of plates finishing would be an advantage and further training will be given
