Area Sales Manager (Toxicology & Paternity Sales)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial team as an Area Sales Manager. This is a new post and will offer the successful candidate a role at the forefront of business development for Cellmark’s rapidly growing toxicology and DNA relationship testing business.
Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager, the job holder will identify potential prospects, develop opportunities and sell Cellmark’s toxicology and DNA paternity services to a range of local authorities, family law solicitors and other interested parties.
Please note that this role will include extensive travelling around the UK.
Suitable applicants will be educated to preferably degree level in a scientific discipline. You will have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with an ability to build relationships with people at all levels. You will also have broad commercial skills with demonstrated ability to identify and win new business as well as supporting existing customers. Experience of technical sales to the public and private sectors, relevant industry background would be an advantage.
