Well you could have the opportunity to! My client based in St Albans is seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join their fun and friendly team. The team consists of 10 Merchandisers an assistant manager and manager.
You will be responsible for the fashion range and be involved with the sales and stock of the current season and then plan for the future seasons by setting up how much stock should be brought, limiting potentional stock issues. You will need to forecast accurately baring in mind lead times and upcoming events. And most importantly maintain a relationship with your current suppliers.
The perfect applicant for this role MUST have assistant merchandising experience, ideally from a sports industry background or clothing.
The salary for this position is paying £24,000. You will be working 37 hours per week. Is it based at the companies head office therefore there is no company car available, but if required to travel there is a company pool car available.
