Property Services require an enthusiastic Electrician to join its small but very busy directly employed Combined Services Group (CSG) delivering a high quality service to support the primary objectives of the University.
You will be responsible for the provision of property maintenance and minor works services to the diverse range of the University’s estate. The post requires participation in an out of hours on-call rota.
You will be qualified to a minimum of City & Guilds Electrical Installation Work Part II Course Certificate (C&G 236,2391), with substantial post qualification experience. Additionally, applicants must have obtained AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) as part of a formal apprenticeship.
It would be desirable to hold a Certificate in Electrical Inspection and Testing to British Standards, an IOSH Managing Safety and Asbestos awareness.
