Electronics Specialist with Purchasing

Pier are proud to be supporting a successful company in the heart of Brighton and Hove in their search for an Engineer Designer who has experience within Purchasing. This is a full time, permeant position that will play an integral role in the design and production of the company's product.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for development and design who is looking to contribute to the success of new products, improvement of existing products and the progression of a growing company.

This company are based close to Brighton's transport and offers parking onsite.

The role:

• Designing and building of electronic circuits and software
• Building and testing of prototypes and test ware
• Responsible for the purchasing of parts and stock
• Price and contract negotiation for parts and stock
• Quality control
• Problem identification and solving
• Health and safety

You will:

• Demonstrate experience in a similar role
• Be confident with the design of hardware and circuits
• Be confident dealing with the purchasing of parts, negotiation of contracts and liaising with suppliers
• Be technical minded and able to problem solve
• Be proactive
• Be able to communicate at a high level
• Have strong design skills as well as excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Be familiar with health and safety standards
