Photographic Stylist (Interior Design, Artwork, Photography) PLUM61793

Our client has been designing and producing quality made-to-measure furniture covers and curtains for over half a century and with the continued development of their furniture re-upholstery service, they are now firmly established as the UK’s leading re-upholsterer. They are a successful, British, family run company employing around 310 people at their Head Office in Preston.

Due to maternity leave, they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Photographic Stylist to work within their in-house Photographic Studio. They are looking for a talented and creative individual to join the team, working closely with the Media Marketing Manager and Photographer.

The successful candidate will assist in the creation of images, including photographs for numerous areas of marketing literature.  In addition, you will be partly responsible for the preparation of room sets, including decorating the set, sourcing and positioning props and organising model shoots. Some location photography may also be required in addition to their in-house studio.

Ideally, you will have a background in product styling, interior design, photography, artwork and design. You should be able to demonstrate a natural flair in interior design and have the ability to carry out research and contribute ideas for photography.

You must be able to work to tight deadlines, be practical and possess excellent organisational skills.

You should be of graduate calibre with experience in a similar role. Strong computer skills are also a must, with knowledge of Mac computers and Photoshop with image retouching. Also, knowledge of Capture One software is desirable.

An understanding of general photography and lighting would also be advantageous.
