£34,951.00 pa (3% salary uplift to be applied from 1.4.2018

Linc-Cymru Housing Association are looking to appoint an innovative Commercial Surveyor into this new and exciting position.

Working as part of this dedicated team, you will undertake market appraisals of development sites for residential and mixed use schemes, undertaking valuations if required. You will also assist with the preparation of financial viability reports for planning applications in respect of both residential and mixed-use schemes, including the appraisal of proposed schemes, reviewing market reports, the preparation and analysis of cost information and assessing site values. 

You will also have some experience of commercial property management and will possess a knowledge of relevant landlord and tenant legislation.

Ideally the appointed candidate will possess the following experience:

• Property background or property linked degree
• Experience of development appraisals and viability of multi-phased     developments, mixed use and residential schemes
• Acquisition and disposal experience of both freehold and leasehold  properties.   
• Good working knowledge of the valuation of development land
• A high degree of analytical ability with strong MS Excel skills

We are looking for people with good commercial knowledge and the know how to create development appraisals and manage commercial estates once completed.  You could come from a range of different property related backgrounds, most important is your attitude, enthusiasm and drive.
