Main Objective: To produce finished product while working in a cell with a small team on a production line assisting in the build of large commercial vehicles new and used, assembled to a high level of quality, within reasonable and agreed timescales.
Pay
First 12 weeks -
GBP8.50 per hour
After 12 weeks
GBP8.90 per hour
Main Duties Include:
Read and understand drawings
Selecting of appropriate materials.
Measuring and reading tape measure.
Marking out.
Cutting.
Screwing
Sawing
Drilling.
Riveting.
Basic welding
Assembly.
Sealing.
All aspects of Joinery and Carpentry
Operating hand powered tools
Competent and safe use of wood cutting machinery.
Competent and safe use of screw fitting machinery.
Ideally you would own your own hand tools or be prepared to purchase them e.g.

10 ,13,17,19mm spanners
?? inch extension bar150mm long approx.

Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations
Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping standards in own area.
Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumable items
carefully.
Assist the Company in caring for the environment by disposing of waste products correctly.
Other duties as required by Cell Leader/Line Supervisor.
Working Times:
Mon & Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm Tues/Thurs/Fri - 7.30am - 4pm
Time and a half after 39 hours
