Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a Cook on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in London.
They are looking to recruit a part-time Cook at Hilltops House in London working 32.5 hours per week. Working hours are 11.00am - 5.50pm and will be 5 days per week including two weekends per month.
Hilltops House in Southwark provides accommodation and support to people who are homeless or at serious risk of homelessness over the age of 50, including those with challenging needs. They offer safe and homely accommodation in a quiet suburb supporting those with issues around mental health or substance misuse, as well as age-related illnesses such as Dementia.
You will be responsible for planning and preparing a balanced menu for customers working with the Service Manager at the scheme. You will be responsible for placing orders with suppliers, serving meals and maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen area.
You will have previous experience of working with vulnerable client groups and Level 2 in Food Safety
